The Friendship Centers offers a full range of services designed to help older individuals live independently and with dignity in their own homes.
Programs to Support Caregivers of frail elders with Care Management and In-Home Services
Eleven Neighborhood Friendship Cafes and activity centers and Friendship Meals on Wheels providing nutritious meals to meet the needs of adults age 60 and older
- Adult Day Service providing companionship and care for loved ones
Friendship Volunteer Programs providing community engagement opportunities for all ages with Friendship At Home, RELIEF Volunteer Respite, VISTA and AmeriCorps. For community agencies and organizations RSVP (Retired & Senior Volunteer Program) matches volunteers with local opportunities.
Health and Wellness Programs providing preventative medical services and resources
Leading edge programs have earned this organization many awards and a reputation as a national model for meeting the needs of persons 50+.
Friendship Centers - Lee is funded in part by the Department of Elder Affairs, the Area Agency on Aging of SWFL, the United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades Counties and Lee County Department of Human Services.
