 “Between Successes: Re-entering the Work Force,” is a FREE four-part seminar series taught by retired executive, author and job-re-trainer Frank Clark offered at Senior Friendship Centers in March . The course is designed especially to help persons 50 and older find their   path to a place in today’s challenging job market. 

Seminars are slated Thursdays, from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. and attendees can elect to attend one or all of the sessions:
• March 3 - Refresh your resume
• March 10 - Work with marketing and networking skills 
• March 17 - How to have a winning interview
• March 24 - Employment agencies, classified ads and job research techniques.
 
Frank Clark served both as officer and director of several Fortune 100 healthcare companies, including Johnson & Johnson, where he was Executive Vice President  and a director overseeing their medical electronics ventures. He  served as President and Director of R.P. Scherer Corp, and director of their world-wide businesses, establishing the corporation's presence in the far East, and overseeing operations in  North  North and South America. He later became a consultant, and currently serves as a director of several companies. He actively consults with with numerous individuals and small business and has appeared on national radio and television as an advocate of career self-management.
 
He is interested in helping participants to spotlight their strengths and talent, establish and confirm job goals, understand new employer needs and how they can fill them, and learn effective "steps of sale" to re-enter the work force.  To motivate people in the job re-entry process he  focuses on self analysis, developing your "personal product" evaluations, physical and mental "musts",  and following a  daily plan toward new employment.  Analyzing, planning, implementing and monitoring the job hunt, self marketing skills, successful interviewing techniques and negotiating the best compensation package are other key areas to explore.
